new Black Saint/Soul Note boxes
There’s another batch of Black Saint/Soul Note boxes being released, seems like they missed the opportunity for a Jimmy Lyons box again, maybe next time! I’m a big fan of this series, a lot of music in each collection at a reasonable price, even though they use only miniature reproductions of the original sleeves. No liner note booklets, presumably to keep costs down. They should make those historical program notes available on a web site.
